My work is a dialogue with the past and the present. I strive to uphold the commitment to excellence and attention to detail found in the works of the Old Masters, applying those principles to the living, breathing landscapes before me. My goal in every painting is to capture a pristine moment in time, preserving a specific light or mood so that the viewer can feel what I felt standing there.
