LAKE EDGE SUMMER | Oil on Panel, Framed, 12 x 9 x .25

The tranquil beauty of a lakeside setting captured in oil, where the reflections of trees, foliage, and sunlight mingle across the surface of the water. Luminous greens and chartreuse yellows evoke the freshness of the surrounding vegetation, while soft blues, muted grays, and touches of rose and coral create a rich tapestry of reflected color. A pale tree trunk anchors the upper right of the composition, contrasting with the fluid, expressive brushstrokes that dissolve the boundaries between land, water, and reflection. The interplay of light and shadow gives the painting a sense of movement and spontaneity, inviting the viewer to linger in this quiet natural moment. Through its bold color relationships, and painterly textures, the work conveys both the serenity of the landscape and the ever-changing beauty of light dancing on water.
