Debbie Carne rescues vintage plates — chipped cake stands, mismatched florals, gilt-edged castoffs — and gives them a second life, printing each one with a bit of wit that plays against its proper, old-fashioned bones. She's dressed the walls of Ted Baker's own restaurants and a South Kensington hotel lobby, and never repeats a design on the same plate twice. She's no longer producing, which means every piece here is genuinely one of a kind — once it sells, there won't be another.
