There is a rabbit in a cloak, absorbed in a book, unbothered by the world. A small mouse has settled on his shoulder — a fellow reader, or perhaps just along for the story. A snail makes its unhurried way past the mushrooms. No one is in a hurry here.

This original silverpoint drawing by artist Sennyo Senn is made using Pure Silver and Sterling Silver with accents of Copper and 24K Gold — a technique largely abandoned after the Renaissance, when graphite made drawing easier and silverpoint was quietly forgotten.

What graphite cannot do is this: change.
Silver tarnishes over time, and in doing so, it deepens — slowly darkening in the shadowed areas, shifting in tone across months and years. The drawing you hang today will not be the drawing you own a decade from now. It is, in the truest sense, a living work of art.
