Vintage Mother of Pearl & Carnelian Necklace
Sourced from Neiman Marcus Last Call, Primm, NV in 2005 — a legendary destination for Los Angeles couture shoppers at the time. This Japanese-made necklace is built from materials that reward a second look: deep coral-red faceted carnelian beads, each separated by a small freshwater pearl spacer, culminating in a generous rectangle pendant of luminous mother of pearl. The iridescent layering of that pendant shifts with the light in the way only natural shell can.
Toggles closed at the neck. Wears 16" long and substantial. The kind of piece that looks equally at home over a linen shirt or a dinner blouse.
