Amethyst & Brass Filigree Brooch Necklace — 1940s Antique, Dragonskin Jasper & Austrian Crystal Cascade | 20"
If jewelry could hold a mood, this one would hold the hour just before dusk — when the light turns gold and everything goes a little mysterious.
The centerpiece is a 1940s brass brooch of uncommon delicacy. Its open filigree frame is worked with rose gold leaf and vine motifs that curl and intertwine with the kind of handcraft that takes time and intention. At the center, a deep amethyst baguette stone glows with the particular richness of vintage glass — not quite purple, not quite wine, entirely its own color.
From the brooch's lower edge fall seven bead fringe drops that read like a distillation of a garden in early autumn — dragonskin jasper rounds in sage and celadon, faceted pyrite-toned crystals in bronze and champagne, iridescent teal crystal rounds, pale mint rounds, and pavé rhinestone rondelles catching light between every bead. The drops vary in length and weight, creating a cascade that moves beautifully and settles differently every time you wear it.
The 20" brass chain mixes elongated oval links with a beaded strand of smoky crystal, teal aurora, mint, and amethyst accent beads — so that even the chain tells the story of the pendant before you reach it.
Luminous. Garden-drenched. Completely one of a kind.
One of a kind. Irreplaceable.
